Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Current Driver's License and must satisfy vehicle insurance requirements.
• NJ Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (eligible for reciprocity).
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR).
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Hazmat Awareness Certification.
• Must possess IIS 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800.
• Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to patients.
• Conducts professional, compassionate care following patient care protocols.
• Completes department vehicle inspections and maintenance requests.
• Documents patient care according to MH procedures.
• Communicates clearly with team, patients, and partners.
