Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey is seeking a Paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to patients in a mobile health setting. The role involves responding to calls, delivering emergency medical care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

A strong candidate will have NJ Paramedic or NRP certification, CPR, ACLS, PALS, Hazmat awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• NJ Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (reciprocity).
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR).
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Hazmat Awareness Certification.
• ICS-100, 200 and NIMS-700, 800.
• Weapons of Mass Destruction/CBRNE Awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to patients in a mobile health setting.
• Operate under established patient care protocols and communicate clearly in English.
• Notify supervisor of deficiencies in maintenance, equipment, or supplies.
• Complete patient care documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external partners to ensure patient safety.
