Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license (Virginia). Paramedic preferred.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• Valid driver's license and 2+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer pre-hospital and ALS care to critically ill or injured persons during transport.
• Assess and treat patients per local and University protocols.
• Maintain safety as a primary responsibility throughout care and transport.
• Identify potential areas for improved care.
• Interface with peers and customers; support professional development per policy.
• Other duties may be assigned.
