The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia (UVA Health) seeks a dedicated Allied Health professional to support emergency medical operations and patient care. You will stabilize patients and transport them safely to healthcare facilities, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other EMS staff to ensure timely, high-quality care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic licensure, a valid driver's license with at least two years driving experience,

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: Virginia Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate or Paramedic required. Paramedic preferred.
• Valid Driver's License (VADL) and at least 2 years of driving experience required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. ACLS required. PALS and Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) Level II or higher required to operate a vehicle within 90 days of hire.
