Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics in Colorado to deliver advanced patient care in a 911 setting and work directly with the Fire Department. The position follows a 48/96 shift, with compensation starting at $57,408 per year and credit for prior experience.

Responsibilities include on-scene care, leadership of the paramedic team, and coordination with health and safety personnel while driving an ambulance on 911 responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Colorado paramedic license and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic).
• Driving record compliant with policy and ability to pass agility test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and follow progressive paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV therapy.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Lead the paramedic team on scene and manage unit operations as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
