Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics in Colorado to provide high-quality 911 emergency medical services and advanced patient care in collaboration with local fire departments. The role operates on a 48/96 shift schedule and involves leading on-scene care and ambulance driving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Colorado Paramedic License required.
• Valid State Driver's License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
