AMR is seeking a Paramedic in Colorado to provide advanced patient care in a 911 setting, working directly with the Fire Department. The role follows a 48/96 shift, with opportunities to lead on scene and coordinate ambulance operations with public safety partners.

The position requires a Colorado Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, and a valid driver's license. Starting pay is $57,408 per year, with experience credited.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Colorado Paramedic License.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use defib, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids for care.
• Communicate with patients and families about care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and scene management.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
