Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is hiring a Paramedic for its Ambulance Service at the Main Campus in Crosby, MN. The role delivers emergency care with focus on patient safety and teamwork, including transport and on-scene support.

The position is full-time with a 13-hour varied shift and offers a $5000 signing bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package. ACLS/PALS/BLS are required; EVOC training within the specified window and MN paramedic certification are mandatory.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PALS within 4 months of hire (provider or instructor-level).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• EVOC training in the last 3 years or to complete within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License.
• Current Paramedic certification from the State of Minnesota OEMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide swift and effective emergency medical services under various conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on-scene and in the emergency department to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain high quality control by following protocols and handling equipment and procedures.
• Adapt resources to the needs of the situation in high-pressure environments.
• Lead and train new staff to sustain high standards within the Ambulance Service.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

Required

• American Heart Association ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
• American Heart Association PALS within 4 months of hire (provider or instructor-level)
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Able to provide proof of EVOC training in the last 3 years or will be to complete training within 6 months of hire
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License
• Current Paramedic certification from the State of Minnesota OEMS

Preferred

• Previous EMS experience

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
