Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo in Dover, Delaware is seeking a Paramedic for full-time or part-time positions. Expect 12-hour shifts with night differential, weekly pay, and room for advancement. You will provide high-quality medical transport and work closely with EMTs and management to uphold patient care standards.

Required: Delaware Paramedic License, NREMT-P, valid Driver's License, EVO for driving roles, CPR, ACLS, and PALS. Company offers medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Delaware Paramedic License is required.
• NREMT-P certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving history.
• Delaware EVO required for driving positions.
• CPR certification for Health Care Provider is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification is preferred.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 125 lbs or more.
• Must obtain a command letter from previous command doctor prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMTs and management to assure top-tier patient care.
• Shift flexibility due to 24-hour operation and variable hours.
• Keep up to date with standards of care, equipment, licenses and registrations.
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with patients and staff.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions using appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Provide top-tier medical transport to medical facilities and follow established policies.
• Operate and drive the ambulance safely in compliance with state and regional regulations.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Gather patient billing information and signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to dispatch assignments.
• Show excellent verbal communication skills.
• Perform other duties as required.
