Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo is hiring a full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) in Dover, Delaware. You will join a 24-hour operations team delivering high-quality pre-hospital care and transport, with opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Responsibilities include collaborating with EMTs and management, staying current with standards of care, and maintaining equipment and patient records. Sign-on bonuses are offered; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and 401k.

Qualifications

• DE State EMT-Basic Certification and NREMT required.
• Valid Driver's License and driving record (minimum 2 years).
• Valid CPR Card for Health Care Provider.
• Delaware EVO for driving positions.
• 911 experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock – work shift schedule may vary.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, equipment functions and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
• Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
• Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by carrying out established policies and procedures.
• Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws.
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and space.
• Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to assignments from the Dispatch Center.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Perform other duties as required/assigned.
