Saint Clare's Health in Denville, New Jersey, is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide high-quality pre-hospital and inter-facility care. You will render basic life support, transport patients, and work as part of our clinical team serving neonatal to geriatric patients.

The role requires NJ EMT certification, BLS CPR, a valid driver's license, and within 12 months NJ certification if starting with another state. CEVO/ITLS/TCCC within 90 days, and prior EMT experience preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre- hospital and inter-facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician certification
• Pennsylvania or New York Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician certification or NREMT accepted but must obtain New Jersey Certification within 12 months of hire
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
• Obtain PHTLS or ITLS or TCCC certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Valid Driver’s License
• CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Previous experience as an EMT is preferred
• Must have a good driving record

Pay Transparency

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.32 to $23.32. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
