Job summary

Bowman and Brooke LLP in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a warranty paralegal to join our national product liability team. You will prepare, edit, and proofread documents, support attorneys across discovery, subpoenas, and trial preparation, and manage electronic case files using IManage.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate and at least three years of litigation experience. You must travel nationwide, follow client billing guidelines, and lift 30 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and proofread documents (correspondence, agreements, pleadings).
• Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing; regularly update team on case status.
• Assist with discovery requests, depositions, and subpoenas.
• Assist with document review using various platforms.
• Manage electronic case files using IManage to stay organized.
• Prepare for trial: coordinating witnesses, subpoenas, exhibits, and trial materials.

We are actively searching for a warranty paralegal to join our team inLake Mary (ORL), FL. Our paralegals play a vital role on our case teams and are respected for their ideas and contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of documents (correspondence, agreements, and pleadings).
• Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case; including taking the initiative to regularly update team members on the status of cases and quickly alerting attorneys to important client and case needs.
• Assist attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas.
• Assist with document review and analysis through various platforms.
• Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage) to ensure information is organized and easy to locate.
• Prepare for trial (including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing, and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing, and managing exhibits, attending trial).

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years’ litigation law firm experience
