Paralegal — Service of Process & Litigation Support

Job summary

SoFi is seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented paralegal to join its Legal Department in supporting SoFi’s Service of Process unit. Reporting to the Senior Paralegal, Service of Process Manager, this role oversees daily intake management and handles subpoena compliance as well as threatened or filed matters.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of supporting law firm and in-house litigation, possess strong knowledge of legal service of process, criminal and civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• 4+ years of experience as a paralegal in law firm or in-house legal department; at least 2 years in a law firm preferred.
• Strong experience with litigation tracking and case management platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of subpoena, litigation and arbitration processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally with attorneys and external providers.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SoFi’s Litigation and Arbitration group and oversee daily intake, tracking, and administration of all service of process matters.
• Handle subpoena compliance and legal correspondence, ensuring timely responses to complaints and subpoenas.
• Maintain accurate service of process data and task management records within SoFi’s systems.
• Provide end-to-end matter management support in both law firm and in-house settings.
• Manage legal invoices, tracking, and vendor relationships.
