Job summary

SoFi is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Legal Department, supporting the Service of Process unit. You will oversee daily intake, manage subpoenas, and assist with threatened or filed matters while coordinating with attorneys and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a paralegal role, familiarity with litigation tracking platforms, and a solid understanding of subpoena and arbitration workflows in fintech or financial services. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; paralegal certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience as a paralegal, in either a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong experience with litigation tracking and case management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of subpoena, litigation, and arbitration processes.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily intake, tracking, and administration of all services of process, including threatened or filed matters.
• Handle subpoena compliance and legal correspondence with timely responses to complaints and subpoenas.
• Maintain accurate service of process data and task management records.
• Support end-to-end matter management in law firm and in-house settings.
• Manage legal invoices and vendor relationships; streamline workflows for the paralegal team.
• Collaborate with attorneys and cross-functional teams on complex legal issues.
