Job summary

SoFi is seeking an experienced Paralegal in New York to support the Litigation and Arbitration group within the Legal Department. You will manage matters end-to-end, assist with document collections and reviews, and track legal invoices and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting, with strong experience in litigation tracking platforms and e-discovery tools. Fintech familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; paralegal certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience as a paralegal, in law firm or in-house legal dept; 2+ years in a law firm preferred.
• Experience with litigation tracking platforms and e-discovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end matter management support for litigation and arbitration matters.
• Assist with document collections, review, and legal hold implementations.
• Track legal invoices, manage vendors, and maintain relationships.
• Oversee daily process management and streamline workflows for the paralegal team.
• Support in-house counsel with responding to complex legal requests.
• Collaborate with attorneys and cross-functional partners on matters.
