Job summary

F3 Law seeks a Paralegal in San Diego to support attorneys with research, document preparation, and trial prep. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and client collaboration, with monitoring of billable hours toward annual targets.

The candidate will assist in drafting briefs, pleadings, and contracts, while maintaining organized case files and using multiple legal tech tools. A state-registered paralegal program is required, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion or degree from an ABA-approved paralegal program or post-secondary institution.
• Proficient in English grammar usage, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and legal terminology.
• Proficient in office software and relevant legal tech tools (DMS, MS Office, Macros, Coyote, Juralaw, Logikcull, CaseLines).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers in preparing for depositions, hearings, conferences, presentations, closings, and trials.
• Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, decisions, articles, treaties, constitutions, and codes.
• Prepare, draft, and edit legal documents including briefs, pleadings, contracts, and closing documents.
• Investigate facts and law to determine causes of action and guide case preparation.
• Organize and track files, maintain a case-management database, and support clerical duties.
