F3 Law is seeking a paralegal to support attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management. The role involves preparing exhibits, drafting briefs and motions, and assisting during depositions and hearings. Emphasis on organization, accuracy, and collaborative work with a dynamic public entity-focused team.

The position emphasizes billable targets and professional conduct, with a focus on maintaining meticulous records and legal compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion or degree from an ABA-approved paralegal program or post-secondary institution.
• Proficient in English grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax and legal terminology.
• Proficient in computer software applications and office equipment; experience with DMS, MS Office, Macros and legal software (e.g., Coyote, Juralaw, Logikcull, CaseLines).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with high attention to detail.
• Diplomacy and discretion when appropriate; analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers in depositions, hearings, conferences, and trials; index student records and prepare exhibits.
• Research and analyze statutes, precedents, and legal sources.
• Draft and edit briefs, pleadings, contracts, motions, and closing documents.
• Investigate facts and legal issues to support case preparation.
• Organize and track case files and maintain case-management databases.
• Perform clerical duties including scheduling, information provision, dictation, and mail routing.
• Conduct routine discovery.
