Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of experience in project management, business operations, or contract management.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects from inception to completion with clear plans, milestones, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with corporate documents and administration typical for an in-house legal department.
• Strong business writing, proofreading, and synthesis of legal information into clear summaries.
• Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee, influence, and develop processes to manage Legal division functions including: Commercial claims, Litigation and e-discovery, recording and tracking deadlines.
• Support compliance programs and general Legal operations.
• Manage contracts for internal review, approval, archival, and retrieval processes.
• Prepare comprehensive department activity reports and dashboards.
• Assist with dispute resolution and civil litigation procedures, including mediation arrangements and litigation holds.
• Monitor outside counsel billing guidelines and processes, and review invoices.
• Track Legal division projects, monitor milestones, and produce status reports.
• Collaborate with diverse groups to ensure timely and effective legal operations.
• Draft and review corporate governance records and board resolutions.
• Ensure regulatory filings are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Support budgeting processes within the Legal division.
