LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Paralegal for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA with our client, Major Airline.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

1. Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution
2. 3+ years of law firm experience, preferably in insurance defense; understanding and working knowledge of the litigation lifecycle and legal documents related to it
3. Strong analytical and research skills
4. Exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills
5. Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with supervised direction
6. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office

JOB DESCRIPTION – FORMATTED TO BE SHARABLE

• Assist Risk Management team with investigation, handling, and resolution of insured claims and litigated matters, including those related to personal injury and property damage/loss
• Work closely with industry-leading insurer and global panel of aviation attorneys to ensure insured matters are handled efficiently
• Analyze legal documents, such as service & process documents, pleadings, written discovery, and contracts
• Identify and work collaboratively across the organization to gather documents relevant to liability and for production in discovery
• Set up claim files and maintain claim-related documents in risk management information system (RISM)
• Place litigation holds using legal hold software
