Harris Beach Murtha’s New York City office seeks an Immigration Paralegal to assist with visa applications for corporate and individual clients. This role is ideal for candidates with:

1. Legal experience; paralegal experience preferred
2. Bachelor’s degree emphasizing writing or communication
3. Experience in business and family-based immigration (preferred but not required)
4. Superior writing/editing skills; please submit a writing sample
5. Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare nonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, E, O-1) and immigrant petitions
2. Manage client accounts and immigration documentation
3. Review and apply immigration regulations
4. Conduct research using government resources
5. Write detailed supporting documentation
