Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Legal Consultant

Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Legal Consultant

Infopro Digital Group is recruiting for an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Legal Consultant on a permanent basis to join our Red on Line brand. This role is remote, based out of our London offices.

This position is a maternity cover for 6 months.

Our international presence includes offices in London, New York, Hong Kong, and Paris.

Red-on-line, part of the Infopro Digital Group, seeks a full-time EHS legal consultant or an EHS professional interested in consulting and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be based in London and will provide regulatory support to UK, Irish, and international clients. You will join our team of EHS experts in the UK and Ireland.

The responsibilities of the EHS legal consultant include:

1. Monitoring and researching UK and Irish EHS legislation.
2. Informing clients of key EHS legislative changes.
3. Drafting summaries of new or amending legislation and regulatory changes.
4. Conducting site visits or calls to identify EHS risks during onboarding.
5. Preparing and delivering tailored legal registers for new clients.
6. Supporting marketing and sales with technical assistance.
7. Drafting regulatory response responses for clients.
8. Collaborating on international projects with European and International Teams.

Requirements

1. A third-level qualification in environmental law, environmental management, science, health and safety management, or related fields.
2. IOSH membership or certification is desirable but not essential.
3. Comprehensive understanding of key EHS legislation in Ireland and the UK.
4. Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
5. Previous knowledge of regulatory compliance is desirable but not essential.
6. Interest and understanding of environmental, health, and safety issues.
7. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
