Job summary

Cipriani & Werner, P.C. is seeking a General Liability Paralegal for our Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA. The role involves independently handling subpoenas, discovery reviews, and preparing legal documents in a high-volume environment.

Requirements include a college degree or equivalent, 5+ years in Insurance Defense Litigation, and proficiency with MS Office 365, ProLaw, and Excel. This is an in-person position with a salary range of $60,000-$70,000.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree or work experience equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Experience proactively handling an attorney's case list.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare subpoenas, review and summarize discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and medical records.
• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations, calendar deadlines, with strong follow up skills.
• Draft motions to compel, sanctions, for extraordinary relief and motions to enforce subpoenas; assist with general motion practice.
• Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.

This is an in-person position.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 and represents C&W's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
