You will assist with annual reports, billing, and diverse legal projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years paralegal experience, a relevant degree, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal cert preferred.
• Minimum two years of paralegal or licensing experience.
• Detail oriented with professional attitude and teamwork.
• Experience in large law firm, in-house, or public company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support for corporate business and occupational licensing, including licenses and documentation.
• Support management of litigation and pre-suit matters, document review, discovery coordination.
• Prepare and file annual reports and corporate documents; assist with billing.
• Handle various legal projects, records management, data analysis and reporting.
• Perform other legal duties as assigned.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards and drive DRVPNK mission.

Job description

We are seeking a paralegal to assist in managing business and occupational licensing and litigation matters on behalf of AutoNation, Inc. and its operating subsidiaries (“AutoNation”) using discretion and independent judgment with limited supervision.This is an onsite position based at our corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL.Job Responsibilities:1. Responsible for providing paralegal support in connection with corporate business and occupational licensing, including determining applicable license requirements, preparing and submitting license applications andsupporting documentation, communicating with internal company stakeholders and local and state government licensing agencies, and conducting applicable follow up and audits.2. Responsible for providing paralegal support in connection with the management of certain litigation and pre-suit matters. This includes reviewing and evaluating legal documents, coordinating and/or responding to certaindiscovery requests, tracking case results and costs, corresponding with outside counsel and providing other general case management assistance.3. Responsible for preparing and filing annual reports and other corporate documents and completing other general tasks and billing related to same.4. Responsible for handling various legal projects, including implementation of paper and electronic records management compliance processes, and general data compilation, analysis, and reporting to inform departmental decision making.5. Responsible for performing other legal duties as assigned.6. Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Qualifications:1. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred.2. The candidate must be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, work well in team collaboration and have exceptional organizationaland communication skills.4.
