Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a paralegal to perform routine and specialized legal support for assigned attorneys. You will assist with case preparation, document drafting, and file management for standard matters, including preliminary legal research and review of documents.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree, paralegal experience, and familiarity with case management systems, MS Office, and legal terminology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent.
• Paralegal or litigation/claims experience preferred.
• Insurance industry experience a plus.
• ABA-certified paralegal certification preferred.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft routine legal documents and discovery responses.
• Prepare initial pleadings and filings.
• Coordinate between multiple parties in litigation.
• Manage case calendars and deadlines.
• Input and maintain data in case management system.
• Support attorneys in trial and deposition preparation.
• Record time and ensure accuracy of billable hours.
