Job summary

Travelers is seeking a paralegal to perform routine and specialized legal and administrative duties for assigned attorneys in a dynamic environment. You will help prepare pleadings, manage files, and coordinate with multiple parties in litigation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or ABA-certified paralegal certification, with insurance-related experience and strong Microsoft Office proficiency. A focus on accuracy, independence, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certification required.
• Paralegal or litigation/claim experience preferred.
• Insurance-related experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft routine legal documents and pleadings.
• Prepare initial pleadings and filings.
• Prepare exhibits and other demonstrative evidence.
• Coordinate requests between parties in litigation.
• Subpoena records and conduct preliminary legal research.
• Assist attorneys in trial and manage case documents.
• Input and maintain data in case management systems.
• Perform duties as assigned and support project work.
