Travelers is seeking an Associate Counsel in California to handle a caseload of lower complexity matters under mentorship, draft pleadings and discovery, and conduct legal research. You will attend court events and depositions while delivering case analysis and strategic recommendations to insured clients and claim partners.

You will also build strong relationships with internal and external partners, use a case management system effectively, and support pro-active litigation initiatives aligned

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent international degree.
• Active license to practice law in required state(s).
• Travel to court events, depositions, and site visits as needed.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of lower complexity matters with supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
