The ideal candidate will combine strong legal knowledge and research skills with the organizational ability and client-focused mindset needed to excel in a dynamic law firm environment.

Why Join Aevitas Law?

You will join a collaborative, purpose-driven organization where your work directly shapes the experience of our clients and supports the effectiveness of the entire office. This is an opportunity to grow professionally and personally while contributing to a team that values quality, service, and meaningful relationships.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check and drug screen.

Requirements
What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

  • Meet and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage caseloads and meet client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
  • Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
  • Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files.
  • Investigate facts and laws of cases and search public records and other resources to prepare cases and determine causes of action.
  • Prepare and process estate planning, real estate, and business planning documents — wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and more – with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • File documents such as business formation applications and amendments, deeds, and IRS applications.
  • Utilize and maintain the law firm client database (Clio).
  • Track the status of client projects and maintain organizational systems to keep project momentum.
  • Set appointments for attorneys, prepare client correspondence, and communicate promptly and professionally with clients and outside contacts.
  • Notarize documents when needed.

  • Has an understanding of estate and tax planning, business law, and/or real estate law.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally — in writing, by telephone, and in person — with clients, attorneys, and outside contacts.
  • Is comfortable with CRM software (Clio preferred) and has a strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Can manage changing priorities and strict deadlines while maintaining a calm, organized, and client-focused presence.
  • Takes initiative, leads by example, and brings a positive, "can-do" attitude to every task.
  • Is dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service to clients and the team.
