Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years paralegal experience in insurance defense, trial exposure, and strong civil procedure knowledge, with excellent organizational and communication skills. This is an in-office position in West Palm Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience, with a strong preference for insurance defense litigation.
• Trial experience required.
• Experience handling multiple active litigation matters simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload from inception through trial.
• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, subpoenas, and discovery responses.
• Organize, review, and summarize medical records and other case-related documents.
• Prepare detailed medical chronologies and case summaries.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial schedules.
• Maintain case files and monitor deadlines to ensure compliance with court requirements.
• Communicate with clients, experts, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist attorneys during trial, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and courtroom support.
