LHH Recruitment in partnership with a company in the DMV area is seeking a part time paralegal. This is a 20 hour a week work commitment. The candidate can work in a remote capacity as long as the candidate sits in the DMV area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Bluebook citation formatting and legal fact checking to support the review and production of publications and briefs
• Assist with citation review ranging from a 14 page brief to a 50 page research paper
• Assist with verifying citations, footnotes and endnotes for accurate support of the legal and factual assertions of text
• Provide detailed feedback to authors and editors regarding citation issues
• Any other duties required of the role

Requirements

• Must have extensive experience with the 22nd Edition of the Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation
• Must have heavy experience performing citation checks
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must have strong research and writing skills
