Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Paralegal to join its legal team. This full-time position supports attorneys across contracts, litigation, claims, and corporate matters. The salary range is $55k-$75k, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of paralegal experience, ideally within an in-house legal department. ABA-approved education is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate from ABA-approved program.
• 2–5 years of paralegal experience, ideally in-house.
• Banking or consumer reporting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer contract processes from initiation to completion and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor legal department mailboxes for litigation, claims, compliance matters, contracts, and other inquiries.
• Conduct pre-claim and litigation investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments.
• Provide litigation support, including calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and coordinating logistics.
• Monitor tradenames, trademarks, and licenses for state agency filings and renewals.
• Assist attorneys with monthly reports, risk assessment assignments, and professional correspondence.
• Process invoices and requisitions and provide general administrative support to the legal department.
• Maintain highly organized and accurate legal files and records while handling confidential information.

This is a full-time position supporting attorneys across contracts, litigation, claims, and corporate matters.The salary range for this position is $55k-$75k, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of paralegal experience, ideally within an in-house legal department. Experience within banking, consumer reporting, or a related industry is a plus.

Candidates must have an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA-approved program or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.

• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a legal team
