Carr Allison in the Southeast is seeking a paralegal to join our civil litigation team in support of our insurance defense docket. The firm values collaboration, meticulous work product, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills to assist attorneys in trials, hearings, and depositions, while managing deadlines and e-filing across state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation (a plus).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a litigation team.
• Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, and able to operate well under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in trials, hearings, and depositions; drafting legal documents such as subpoenas and pleadings.
• Assist in case analysis and meeting all applicable deadlines.
• e-filing with both State and Federal Courts.
• Summarizing medical and billing records.
• Summarizing depositions and managing cases from inception to completion.
