Legal Studies in New York seeks an experienced Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years in civil litigation. Matrimonial/family knowledge and personal injury exposure are aPlus. Strong writing skills are essential for drafting pleadings and discovery demands.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and subpoenas; corresponding with courts, clients, and adverse counsel; and handling e-filing and deposition scheduling. PACER, NYSEF, Word, and Outlook proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in civil litigation required.
• Experience drafting pleadings and discovery demands.
• Strong writing and proofreading abilities.
• Familiarity with PACER and NYSEF systems.
• Proficient in court correspondence and client communication.

Responsabilités

• Draft pleadings, Discovery Demands and Responses, and subpoenas.
• Correspond with Court, clients and adversaries; conduct research.
• Manage subpoenas, e-filing, and scheduling depositions.
• Calendar management and regular communication with parties.
