Job summary

Confidential Jobs is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of litigation, manage case documentation, file filings, and assist with legal research. The role emphasizes timely filings, organized case files, and strong client communication.

You will work in a fast-paced office, coordinate deadlines with multiple attorneys, and use MyCase and Lexis for research and case management. A formal paralegal education and significant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree and formal paralegal education preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of paralegal or related litigation experience required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Strong professionalism when interacting with clients, courts, and opposing parties.
  • Strong proofreading and document review capabilities with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, and manage legal correspondence, pleadings, and other litigation documents
  • File pleadings electronically with Federal and State Courts and governmental agencies
  • Maintain case dockets, calendars, and litigation deadlines
  • Conduct legal research using web-based legal research applications
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and governmental agencies
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and document organization
  • Manage assignments for multiple attorneys and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and legal records
  • Support attorneys in time-sensitive litigation matters and administrative tasks

The Litigation Paralegal is responsible for supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation by managing case documentation, preparing legal filings, maintaining court deadlines, and assisting with legal research and client communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate case management, timely filings, and efficient legal operations within a fast-paced litigation environment.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Associate degree and formal paralegal education preferred
