Job summary

Einhorn Barbarito seeks a detail-oriented paralegal to assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from inception through trial. You will conduct research, perform data entry, manage case files, and handle ad-hoc requests to keep matters moving efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and filing systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with document management and e-filing systems required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation from case inception through trial.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and court scheduling.
  • Coordinate and prepare discovery materials, document productions, and exhibits.
  • Conduct legal and factual research.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.
  • Prepare deposition summaries and trial notebooks.
  • Assist with trial preparation, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Maintain billing time entries and assist with administrative litigation support tasks.
