Job summary

Pond Lehocky Giordano seeks a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our Philadelphia-based team. You will support attorneys in hearings, investigations, and case management while delivering compassionate client service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years as a paralegal, 2+ years in workers' comp, and familiarity with case management tools such as Litify. This role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and precise multitasking to help clients secure benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a paralegal role required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Workers Compensation experience strongly encouraged.
• College degree or paralegal certificate preferred
• Experience with Litify Case Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare for hearings, mediations, and depositions, including exhibits.
• Review stipulations and calculate wage/TTD.
• Review daily checks (fees, costs) and communicate with clients.
• Attend paralegal team meetings via Teams.
• Draft letters and documents for counsel and clients.
• Liaise with adjusters, opposing counsel, and healthcare providers.
• Manage case information in the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation systems (WCAIS).
• Enter attorney appearances and respond to inquiries from clients and counsel.
• Schedule client appointments and maintain case files.
• Other duties as assigned.

Workers' Compensation Paralegal (Philadelphia Based):

Pond Lehocky Giordano seeks a Paralegal to join our highly successful workers' compensation team. Employee will need to be able to work in a face-paced environment, have a strong ability to multitask, be a team player and have a positive attitude. Most importantly we are looking for someone who will have empathy for our clients and great customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Prepare for all hearings; mediations; fact witness depositions (including preparation of exhibits)
• Review Stipulations
• AWW/TTD calculations
• Review daily checks (fees, costs)
• Attend paralegal team meetings via Teams
• Draft letters and documents
• Answer calls from adjusters, opposing counsel, clients and healthcare providers
• Handle daily uploading and obtaining of relevant case information from the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation management system, WCAIS or the State equivalent system
• Enter attorney appearance via mail and/or WCAIS
• Answer attorney direct line and monitors email; serving as liaison between attorney and clients by resolving routine and some complex inquiries
• Prepare responses to counsel, adjusters, and judges
• Scan documents into client files
• Schedule client appointments and/or telephone conferences
• Maintain client’s file in case management system, updating information as necessary
• Other Responsibilities & Duties may be assigned.
