RAWLE & HENDERSON LLP seeks a Paralegal with at least one year of Workers Compensation defense experience for our Workers Compensation Department in our Philadelphia office.
Primary responsibilities include: compiling evidence and supporting information; reviewing and responding to case developments; prepares legal documents for attorney’s approval and use; maintains database; maintains technical knowledge and contributes to team effort. Maintaining case calendar, schedule, files and documents. Organizing and maintaining pleadings, discovery, medical records, vocational records, subpoenas and investigative reports. Scheduling depositions of experts and witnesses. Drafting and serving subpoenas. Working closely with attorneys to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Candidates must have high attention to detail, dependability and a desire to learn.
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate and a minimum of one year of insurance defense and WICAS experience required. Must be proficient in MS office applications (Word, Excel).
