Reports to: Managing Attorney / Senior Associate

Job Summary:

Our firm is seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal to support attorneys across a variety of practice areas, including Family Law, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and Civil Litigation. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
• Perform legal research and compile case law summaries to support litigation strategy.
• Organize and maintain case files (physical and digital), discovery materials, and trial binders.
• Assist in managing attorney calendars, court dates, deadlines, and client communications.
• Coordinate with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and court personnel.
• Prepare case summaries, medical chronologies, and damages assessments (especially for PI and WC cases).
• File legal documents electronically with state and federal courts.
• Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Family Law, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, or Civil Litigation.
• Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures in New Jersey
