Sterling Lawyers, LLC in Madison, WI is seeking a Paralegal to support two family-law attorneys from start to finish. The role offers a base salary starting at $47,400 with uncapped monthly bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, e-filing, organizing discovery, managing calendars, and coordinating client communications. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and prior family-law paralegal experience is strongly encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to at least two attorneys, managing family law cases from start to finish.
• Draft, e-file, and serve pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and pre-trial materials; proactively anticipate attorney needs.
• Compile, scan, and organize discovery responses and exhibits; maintain accurate electronic and physical files.
• Manage attorney calendars, hearings, and court appearances; schedule client, court, and opposing counsel calls; reconcile electronic dockets.
• Work directly with clients to complete financial statements and maintain ongoing communication regarding case updates, deadlines, and hearings.
• Coordinate document service, confirm completion, file affidavits of service, and notify attorneys/clients of outcomes.
• Process incoming mail, track case-related expenses, and handle reimbursements.
• Support client meetings and in-office appointments, including greeting clients and preparing spaces.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range starting at $47,400 commensurate with experience
• Uncapped performance-based bonus monthly potentially ranging from $500 to $1,500 per month
