Digital Content Specialist - Fort Wayne Metals
The Digital Content Specialist will provide research, analysis, and practical implementation of digital initiatives, with guidance from the marketing team, in digital matters; and maintain confidentiality as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategy and preparation of complex digital content and other materials such as blogs, social media posts, and web content. Support ongoing campaigns and update content as needed.
- Perform substantive review of digital content for compliance with brand guidelines, applicable laws, and best practices; make recommendations and revise content, as necessary, while keeping within deadlines.
- Build sustainable and effective digital marketing strategies to prioritize and manage complex projects to ensure business-critical assets are effectively promoted.
- Act as the primary liaison with external digital agencies on numerous marketing matters, including content development and digital campaigns. Monitor the progress of digital initiatives and applications. Support resolution of pending matters, as necessary. Conduct research as necessary to stay abreast of relevant changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implement and maintain a system to document, prioritize, and organize digital initiatives and take a leadership role in significant project management.
- Create the formal documentation necessary to establish and maintain digital content calendars and work with leadership as needed on other marketing forms.
- Support the marketing team on project management and other related activities.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently to build and execute sophisticated digital strategies, with limited supervision from the marketing team.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and internet for research.
- Ability to analyze and interpret digital marketing matters, implement plans, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
- Digital marketing certification, preferred.
