Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Trademark Paralegal to assist our client with the front-end of the trademark application process. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who is experienced with trademark filings and is looking for flexible, remote work.

While the role will be supported and guided by an experienced TM Attorney, the ideal candidate will be comfortable handling the heavy lifting in trademark clearance, application preparation, and prosecution tasks.

Our client provides end-to-end support for trademark clearance, registration, and prosecution. They assist clients in securing exclusive rights to their brands through strategic legal guidance and portfolio development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct knockout and comprehensive trademark searches
• Assist in preparing and filing USPTO trademark applications
• Draft and respond to office actions with attorney guidance
• Perform docketing, status checks, and updates
• Collaborate with the attorney on strategy for TM registration and clearance

Qualifications:

• 1–3+ years of experience in trademark law
• Familiarity with USPTO procedures and the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) filing system
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting

Details:

• Estimated Hours: 10–15 hours per week
• Duration: 3–6 months (potential for extension)
• Location: 100% Remote

• The hourly rate will be determined based on the candidate’s industry knowledge and experience.
• All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
