Job summary

Derby Public Schools is seeking a qualified candidate to assist and participate in teaching elementary school-aged children at Irving School Learning Centers. Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom order, and supervising children. Ideal candidates possess a ParaPro Certificate or an Associate's Degree and good communication skills. Experience in ABA is a plus. This role emphasizes teamwork with the classroom teacher and positive interaction with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.

• Interact positively with children and supervise them continuously.
• Document children's progress and maintain portfolios.
• Keep community areas of the building neat and clean.
