Twin Rivers Unified School District is seeking a Paraeducator II to provide instructional, behavioral and clerical support in special education and general education classrooms. This role is based in Grant with a 6-hour workday, five days a week, full-time status.

Provides instructional, group and individual behavior, and clerical support to teachers in special education classroom settings, assisting individuals or small groups of students to enhance learning. Assists teachers with instruction and classroom management that occurs in special education and general education classrooms and play field environs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics. Completion of at least 48 college credit units may substitute for the competency assessment.
May require a valid driver’s license. Compliance with District skill/competency requirements. May require a valid First Aidd/CPR card.
