Job summary

West Linn-Wilsonville School District 3J seeks a Paraeducator I/II in Student Services to support instruction under licensed teachers. The roving role covers multiple schools in West Linn, Oregon, with a 7-hour day, five days a week, over a 10-month period.

Responsibilities include working with students individually and in small groups, collecting data, and preparing instructional materials, while adhering to behavior, medical, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or higher or paraeducator program or equivalent exam.
• 72 credits or higher from an accredited program.
• BA/BS or MA/MS degree preferred or required.
• Proficient use of computer technology and office software.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually and in small groups to foster independence.
• Collect and record data on student progress and outcomes.
• Prepare instructional materials for diverse learners.
• Support instruction and assessment under the licensed teacher.
• Assist with hygienic/personal needs and safety protocols when required.
