West Linn-Wilsonville School District 3J Boeckman Creek Primary School in Wilsonville, Oregon is seeking a Paraeducator I/II. This 7 hour/day, 5 day/week, 10 month position works under a licensed teacher to provide instruction, support and services for students.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree, 72 credits, Paraeducator Program or equivalent exam, BA/BS degree, or MA/MS degree.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually or in small groups to foster independence in academics, social skills, communication, behavior and routines.
• Collect and record data; prepare instructional materials; support instruction and assessment of students.
• Support students in all school settings including classrooms, gym, lunchroom and community; assist with hygienic and personal needs and medical protocols.
