Fridley Public Schools seeks a Paraeducator to support K-4 students at Hayes Elementary School. The role focuses on proactive behavior support, problem solving, and collaboration with the student support team.

Paraeducator behavior position, responding to K-4 students at Hayes Elementary School. This position will support the student support team and work directly with students in pro-active student breaks, problem solving, conflict managment and response to unexpected behavior.
Schedule: 6.5 hours/day Monday - Friday, student contact day position
The Paraeducator is a district employee who is primarily engaged in direct interaction with one or more pupils for activities according to the teacher-approved plan for the student. Accommodations and modifications specified on students' IEPs are performed under the direction of a regular or special education teacher or related services provider. Specifically, this position will support the student behavior team and work daily with students experiencing behavior challenges.
Step 1 at $24.50/hr to Step 5 at $28.00/hr, placement will vary depending on education and experience.
