Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island invites hospitality professionals to join our luxury resort family. You will craft unique dining experiences with warm, personal service in a fast-paced, upscale setting and maintain impeccable cleanliness, setup and ambiance to welcome every guest.

You will leverage knowledge of F&B services, assist with course service and cross‑outlet collaboration to ensure flawless guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Focus on guest needs with calm, courteous service.
• Strong reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Detail oriented with pride in service quality.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences with warm, personal service in a luxury, fast-paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression through cleanliness, setup and ambiance control.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B services, contents and hotel features.
• Clean, set and reset tables and manage station duties.
• Serve water, bread and coffee; greet guests by name when possible.
• Assist servers with clearing courses during meals.
• Support other outlets during peak times or as needed.
• Follow food safety guidelines (HACCP) and safety procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
