Job summary

Catalina Island Company is seeking a Front Desk Associate for a seasonal position on Catalina Island. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, inquiries, and payments while coordinating with housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role offers seasonal housing at a subsidized rate and pay between $20.00–$21.00 per hour, with commission potential based on room and guest activity sales.

Qualifications

• Strong communication (verbal and written) and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience or familiarity with hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate and RBS Certificate required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and manage reservations.
• Handle guest inquiries by phone and in person with professionalism.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Upsell rooms and promote hotel services and activities.
