Job summary

Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking a Para-Educator to support students with disabilities under certified staff guidance in classrooms and community settings. You will assist with instructional, behavioral, and health-related activities to help students achieve IEP or IFSP goals, with a schedule of 185 days and 7 hours per day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience working with children or adults with special needs preferred.
• Physical ability to lift/move students and perform essential duties; DHS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional activities to support IEP/IFSP goals.
• Support students with disabilities in classrooms and community settings.
• Work under guidance of certified staff to implement health-related tasks.
