Job summary
Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking a Para-Educator to support students with disabilities in classrooms, community settings, or one-on-one. Under certified staff guidance, you’ll assist with instructional, behavioral, and health-related activities to help students meet IEP/IFSP goals.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in child development, education, psychology, or special education preferred.
- Experience working with children/adults with special needs preferred.
- Must meet Michigan DHS Child Abuse and Neglect Registry clearance.
Responsibilities
- The Para-Educator supports students with disabilities in classrooms, community-based experiences, or one-on-one settings.
- Under the guidance of certified/licensed staff, you will assist with instructional, behavioral, and health-related activities to help students achieve IEP/IFSP goals.
