Job summary

Springfield Public Schools seeks a Classroom Para Educator to assist teachers in delivering high-quality education for all students. You will support instruction, prepare instructional materials, manage behavior, and help create an inclusive classroom environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff, ongoing professional development, and alignment with district equity goals. A strong candidate will meet credential requirements and demonstrate commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.
• Provides assistance with classroom activities.
• Prepares instructional materials.
• Manages individual and classroom behavior
• Supervises students on field trip activities.
• Performs other support services and related duties as requested by Building Principal.
